EWC One Way Clutch Bearings (EWC)
The EWC and S-EWC Standard and Stainless Steel One Way Bearing Series consists of a drawn cup roller clutch, cage and springs. The drawn Cup is made of carburized steel and has a unique hexed external outer diameter. Housings can be designed in accordance with the shapes of gears, timing pulleys and cams. Please contact Boca Bearings direct for custom designed EWC One Way Bearings. Bore sizes are available in a range of 4mm to 12mm. A drawn cup needle roller clutch has a small radial section height and is also commonly known as a One Way Bearing or Anti-Reverse Bearing. One Way Bearings are designed to transmit torque between the shaft and housing in one direction and allow free motion in the opposite direction.
The S-EWC denotes stainless steel which is less likely to corrode than standard bearing steel in enviornments where moisture is present.
