How to upgrade Shimano Curado D, Citica D and Cruxis

 

This step-by-step tutorial is provided to assist in the levelwind upgrade of Curado® CU200DPV,CU200DHSV, Citica® CI200D, CI200DPV and Cruxis™ CRX200 reels. Upgrades are only necessary if you experience a clicking sound or binding in the retrieve in your new reel. The procedure should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Please exercise caution and use safety glasses when using hand tools.

 

Tools needed to perform upgrades: Needle nose pliers, tweezers, small flathead screwdriver, and small Phillips screwdriver.
