After I got the engine plate mounted and welded to the frame I lined up the mounting holes and drilled accordingly to make sure the engine would sit where I wanted. I also Drilled holes for the rear pillow blocks so I could start assembling the rear axle.
It was a bit of a pain getting the rear axle on as the company made it exactly 1 inch in diameter, which was the exact width of the inside of the bearing. I had to hand sand down the axle to make it fit in the bearings, taking off thousandths of an inch to make it able to slide through but still snug enough to not have any play.
