Here are the recent accomplishments:

Completion of drive train Assembly: Our team has successfully completed the assembly of the drive train, which is now spinning smoothly, ensuring optimal propulsion for our submarine.

Completion of Steering Assembly: We have also finalized the steering assembly, enhancing the maneuverability and control of the submarine.

Safety Systems Testing: Our safety systems, including the dead man buoy system, have undergone rigorous testing multiple times, ensuring the utmost safety for our pilot and team members.

Hatch Functionality: The hatches, including those for the pilot and service purposes, are working seamlessly, providing easy access and ensuring the integrity of the submarine's structure.

Pool Testing: The submarine has been successfully tested in the pool at Engineering West on the Boca Raton campus. During these tests, we achieved neutral trim and successfully piloted the submarine from one side of the pool to the other, demonstrating its functionality and performance.

Upcoming updates and tasks include:

• Painting the submarine to enhance its aesthetics and protection.
• Installation of the nosecone and view port for improved visibility and hydrodynamics.
• Improved mounting of the scuba tank system to ensure efficient operation during underwater missions.

We are incredibly proud of these achievements and are eager to continue pushing boundaries as we work towards the European International Submarine Races.  Boca Bearings support has been instrumental in our journey, and we are grateful for your partnership.
